The Animal Nutrition and Welfare Service (SNiBA) belongs to the Department of Animal and Food Sciences, and is a research and technology transfer center at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

SNIBA is accredited as a technology developer by TECNIO. This seal, granted by the Government of Catalonia through ACCIÓ, identifies the location of the most innovative technology, the providers offering it, and the facilitators involved in the technology and knowledge transfer process.
