Research Focus

Specialised in animal behaviour and welfare, mainly in companion animals. Her PhD focused on aggressive behaviour in dogs and cats. Her main areas of interest are: (1) stress in cats, (2) separation anxiety in dogs (3) aggressive behaviour in dogs and cats, (4) welfare in clinical practice. She is working in the Animal Behaviour Services of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (Barcelona School of Veterinary Medicine), since September 2001. Since 2004 she is coordinator and lecture at the Master Degree on Veterinary Clinical Ethology, which is now in its 14th edition. Participation in several private projects and authored and co-authored over 20 publications in peer-review journals.
