Research Focus

Specialised in animal behaviour and welfare. Her PhD focused on the assessment of welfare based on animal-based measures. Special interest in practical intervention strategies to improve welfare on farm and animal welfare education. Her research usually involves working with farmers and other stakeholders to develop practical, welfare friendly and sustainable methods of keeping farmed animals. Participation in projects to investigate the value of participatory approaches to innovation on different livestock sectors.
